Sebastian Stan’s ‘Fjord’ scores Palme d’Or at Cannes

Fjord — starring Sebastian Stan and directed by Cristian Mungiu — won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.
The Grand Prix went to Andreï Zviaguintsev’s Minotaure.
The Best Director Prize was shared by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, who helmed La Bola Negra, and Pawel Pawlikowski, who directed Fatherland.
Emmanuel Marre won the Best Screenplay honor for Notre Salute.
Soundain co-stars Virginie Efira and Tao Okamoto shared the Best Actress accolade and Coward cast-mates Emmanuel Macchia and Valentin Campagne won for Best Actor.
