DC is gearing up for the release of Supergirl.
The studio shared a trailer for the film Wednesday featuring Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl.
Supergirl is based on the DC Comics character, the cousin of Clark Kent, aka Superman, with her own powers of superhuman strength and speed, heat vision and flight.
The trailer, released to celebrate tickets going on sale, shows Supergirl (Alcock) team up with the alien Lobo (Jason Momoa) and a young Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley) against the villainous Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts).
David Corenswet also makes a cameo as Clark Kent, aka Superman, who is seen presenting Supergirl with her own red and blue costume.
Supergirl is directed by Craig Gillespie and also stars David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham. The movie opens in theaters June 26.
