Bleecker Street released a 90-second trailer for its horror movie, Victorian Psycho, on Thursday.
The adaptation of Virginia Feito’s novel is set in 1858 and stars Maika Monroe as Winifred Notty, a governess at a remote, English estate, who begins acting oddly as the staff start disappearing.
The trailer discussing what evil is with her young charges, then finding a severed ear under a bed, dipping her hands in a bowl of blood and hitting someone with the rock.
Jason Isaacs and Thomasin McKenzie co-star in the film, which is set for a fall theatrical release.
Zachary Wigon directed the film. Feito penned the screenplay.
