Project Hail Mary is coming to Prime Video this week.

The hit sci-fi film will start streaming on the service Friday, more than three months after its release in theaters March 20.

Project Hail Mary is based on the Andy Weir novel, which follows Ryland Grace, a science teacher and former biologist who wakes up to find himself the sole survivor on a spaceship.

Ryan Gosling plays Ryland in the film adaptation, which sees the character battle amnesia and find an unexpected friend as he adjusts to his new normal.

“As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone,” an official synopsis reads.

Written by Drew Goddard and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary also stars Sandra Hüller, James Ortiz, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, Milana Vayntrub and Priya Kansara.

Project Hail Mary topped the North American box office following its release and was previously released for streaming on MGM+.
