Netflix is teasing the new film The Last House.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the movie Monday featuring The Morning Show actress Greta Lee and Dope Thief actor Wagner Moura.
The Last House is a survival thriller following Ann (Lee) and Jason (Moura), a couple who must learn to survive when they find themselves trapped inside of their house with their two children for days, months and then years.
The trailer shows the family adjusting to their new circumstances and teases “the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.”
In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Lee said she was “immediately drawn” to the story, adding, “I love the questions this movie asks about our world and how we choose to live in it.”
The Last House is directed by Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me, Lupin). The film starts streaming Aug. 7 on Netflix.
