Organizers of the Venice Film Festival announced Thursday plans to screen the new projects of Robert Pattinson, Casey Affleck, Kate Mara, Sam Rockwell, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem this summer.
The lineup includes Pattinson’s Primetime, which co-stars Merritt Wever and Phoebe Bridgers; director Affleck’s Company with Nick Nolte, Sydney Chandler and Ben Mendelsohn; director Werner Herzog’s Bucking Fastard with Mara, Orlando Bloom and Domhnall Gleeson; filmmaker Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine with Rockwell, John Malkovich, Steve Buscemi and Parker Posey; and Bunker with Cruz, Bardem, Paul Dano, Stephen Graham and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Danny Boyle’s Ink is to open the prestigious Italian festival on Sept. 2.
The event is to run through Sept. 12.
