Focus Features is giving a glimpse of the new film Werwulf.
The studio shared a trailer for the movie Monday featuring Nosferatu and 28 Years Later actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Werwulf reunites Taylor-Johnson with Nosferatu, The Witch and The Lighthouse director Robert Eggers, whose frequent collaborator Willem Dafoe also stars in the film.
Described as Eggers “most visceral and haunting experience yet,” the movie tells “a harrowing tale of devotion, damnation and the devil within.”
The trailer shows Taylor-Johnson’s character become “cursed” and tormented by a strange transformation.
Werwulf opens in theaters Dec. 25 on Christmas Day.
