Toho is giving a glimpse of the new film Godzilla Minus Zero.
The Japanese studio shared a teaser trailer for the movie Tuesday featuring the iconic monster Godzilla.
Godzilla Minus Zero is a sequel to the 2023 film Godzilla Minus One, which followed a kamikaze pilot who encounters Godzilla in post-World War II Japan.
The new movie takes place two years later and appears to bring the action stateside, as the teaser shows Godzilla striding past the Statue of Liberty in New York City.
Takashi Yamazaki returns to write and direct the sequel, with returning cast members including Ryunosuke Kamiki as the original protagonist, Koichi.
“Godzilla Minus Zero picks up in 1949, two years after the tumultuous events of Godzilla Minus One, and continues the story of the Shikishima family as they face an all-new calamity,” an official synopsis reads.
Godzilla Minus Zero opens in theaters Nov. 6 in the United States.
