Amazon MGM Studios is teasing the new film The Sheep Detectives.
The studio shared a clip from the movie Monday ahead of its release Wednesday on Prime Video.
The Sheep Detectives is a live-action and CG-animated film based on the Leonie Swann novel Three Bags Full. The movie follows a flock of sheep who must investigate a mystery.
Jackman plays George, “a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers,” an official synopsis reads.
The teaser shows George care for a “winter lamb” who is rejected from the flock due to superstition.
The star-studded cast also includes Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Hong Chau and Emma Thompson.
The Sheep Detectives opened in theaters in May.
