Victor Frankenstein and his creation face off in the final trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
In the preview that aired Friday, the being made of fallen Crimean war soldiers (Jacob Elordi) looms over Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac).
“I created something truly horrible,” Frankenstein says in the clip.
“Not something,” the creature corrects. “Someone.”
As the preview concludes, viewers see the being scream.
Frankenstein is adapted from Mary Shelley’s 1818 book of the same name.
An official synopsis for the movie describes Frankenstein as “a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.”
Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz also star.
The movie, now playing in theaters, is due to stream on Netflix Nov 7.
