The Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, is the No. 1 movie in North America this weekend, earning $97 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with $21.2 million, followed by Project Hail Mary at No. 3 with $13.2 million, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy at No. 4 with $5.6 million and The Drama at No. 5 with $2.6 million.
Rounding out the top tier are Hoppers at No. 6 with $1.9 million, You, Me & Tuscany at No. 7 with $1.5 million, Over Your Dead Body at No. 8 with $1.4 million, Mother Mary at No. 9 with $1.3 million and American Youngboy at No. 10 with $1.2 million.
