The animated adventure, Minions & Monsters, is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $36.4 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 is Toy Story 5 with $31 million, followed by Young Washington at No. 3 with $21 million, Supergirl at No. 4 with $9.6 million and Disclosure Day at No. 5 with $6 million.
Rounding out the top tier are Obsession at No. 6 with $5.3 million, Backrooms at No. 7 with $3.3 million, Jackass: Best and Last at No. 8, Scary Movie at No. 9 with $1.1 million and The Invite at No. 10 with $800,000.
