Netflix announced Thursday that it is launching a KPop Demon Hunters immersive experience at its Netflix House locations. The film celebrates the one-year anniversary of its premiere on Saturday.
Netflix House has locations in Philadelphia and Dallas, both featuring Wednesday, Stranger Things and Squid Game experiences. The streaming service is also planning anniversary screenings and a TikTok watch party.
Toys, dolls, apparel and more merchandise are launching Monday, including themed sunscreen. Derpie Tiger and Susie Bird LEGO sets are available for pre-order now. The Netflix Playground app launches six Kpop Demon Hunters minigames Saturday.
Featuring the speaking voices of Arden Cho, May Hong and Ji-young Yoo and singing voices of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, KPop Demon Hunters features the girl group Huntr/x battling demons. One is keeping a secret that she is part demon herself.
The film won Oscars for Best Animated Film and the song “Golden.” Netflix reports 600 million views of the film keeping it in the Global Top 10 for 52 weeks.
