Tim Allen says filming Toy Story 5 was “an amazing experience.”

The Shifting Gears star, 72, stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss the feature on Tuesday.

He lends his voice to Buzz Lightyear in the movies, the first of which arrived in 1995.

“It’s an amazing experience,” he said. “That story has been so much a part of my life, with that character. And Tom (Hanks) and I have become really close friends because of that.”

The fifth installment will follow Jessie who “is in trouble,” Allen said.

“Woody (Hanks) and I have to go find her,” he said.

Greta Lee voices a tablet, which poses a new challenge for the toys.

November premieres: ‘Pluribus,’ ‘Wicked: For Good,’ ‘Running Man’
