Universal Pictures has dropped a new full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s epic, The Odyssey.
The 2 1/2-minute preview has gotten more than 2 million views since it was posted on YouTube Monday.
It shows Trojan War hero Odysseus, King of Ithaca (Matt Damon), on his harrowing, 10-year journey home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).
“My dad is coming home,” Telemachus tells the men who wish to marry his mother and take over the kingdom.
“No one can stand between me and home,” Odysseus later vows. “Not even the gods.”
Set for theatrical release on July 17, the adaptation of Homer’s classic will star Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Mia Goth and Charlize Theron.
