A new trailer for The Housemaid shows Amanda Seyfried make Sydney Sweeney uncomfortable with an unexpected outburst.

The preview, released Wednesday, shows Seyfried’s Nina crying and yelling as she searches for missing PTA notes, which she blames Sweeney’s Millie for losing.

As the trailer continues, Nina’s mental state only worsens.

“From director Paul Feig, the film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion and nothing is as it seems,” an official synopsis reads. “Trying to escape her past, Millie accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). But what begins as a dream job quickly unravels into something far more dangerous — a sexy, seductive game of secrets, scandal and power.”

Nichel Morrone also stars in the film, which arrives in theaters Dec. 19.
