‘Argylle’ tops North American box office with $6.5M

Action-comedy Argylle — starring Henry Cavill, John Cena and Bryce Dallas Howard — is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $6.5 million in receipts during Super Bowl weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 is Lisa Frankenstein with $3.8 million, followed by The Beekeeper at No. 3 with $3.5 million, The Chosen at No. 4 with $3.2 million and Wonka at No. 5 with $3.1 million. Advertisement
Rounding out the top tier are Migration at No. 6 with $3 million, Anyone But You at No. 7 with $2.7 million, Mean Girls at No. 8 with $1.9 million, American Fiction at No. 9 with $1.3 million and Poor Things at No. 10 with $1.1 million.
