Marvel Entertainment is teasing the new film Avengers: Doomsday.
The studio shared a trailer for the movie Monday featuring Robert Downey Jr. as the villainous Doctor Doom.
Avengers: Doomsday brings together superheroes from multiple Marvel franchises, including Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) of the Avengers, Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal) of the Fantastic Four, Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) of the X-Men, and Shuri (Letitia Wright), the new Black Panther of Wakanda.
Other cast members include Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, aka Captain America, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Simu Liu as Xu Shang-Chi and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier.
Downey previously portrayed Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was announced to play Doctor Doom in two Avengers movies in July 2024.
Avengers: Doomsday opens in theaters Dec. 18.
