George Clooney and Adam Sandler stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of Jay Kelly, ahead of the film’s arrival in theaters Friday.

The film follows Clooney’s Jay Kelly, a movie star who travels across Europe in an effort to find himself after his daughter goes to Paris.

“This character has a lot more regrets than I would have because, luckily for me, fame came much later in my life,” Clooney previously told Netflix’s Tudum. “I got to figure out how to live life before I figured out how to be famous, and I don’t think this character did.”

Sandler portrays Jay’s manager Ron.

Clooney and Sandler wore navy blue suits to the premiere. Sandler’s ensemble also included a purple tie.

Director Noah Baumbach also attended the premiere Tuesday, as did cast members Riley Keough, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, Grace Edwards, Emily Mortimer and James Keach.

Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Stacy Keach, Jim Broadbent, Greta Gerwig, Alba Rohrwacher, Josh Hamilton, Lenny Henry, Nicole Lecky, Thaddea Graham and Isla Fisher also star.

Jay Kelly is set to arrive on Netflix Dec. 5.
