A Hello Kitty movie is now in the works at Warner Bros. and set for theatrical release on July 21, 2028.
Leo Matsuda is directing the English-language animated movie based on the iconic Sanrio media character.
This will be the first time Hello Kitty and her friends Little Twin Stars, My Melody and Gudetama have been licensed to a major Hollywood studio.
No plot details or voice cast have been announced yet.
